Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) Systems and Components PBU will consist of Valve Train, Fuel Modules, Canisters, Selective Catalytic Reduction systems, Ignition Systems, EACV, Dynamic Sensors & Exhaust Sensors, Smart Remote Actuators, Gas and Diesel Light Vehicle Injection Systems and Commercial Vehicle Injection Systems product lines. We will leverage our strong position with GDI passenger car and Diesel CV customers in order to grow the component business. Electronics & Electrification PBU offerings include inverters, DC/DC converters, battery controllers and on-board chargers for a complete electronic hardware and software management system, core to our portfolio is the inverter –a device that converts DC (Direct Current) into AC (Alternating Current) for electric motor control. Our power electronic technology is based on a patented device called VIPER -- the power switch used in the power module in the inverter – six of these are combined into one housing. The compact power module includes dual sided cooling for enhanced thermal management. The improved cooling and compact design enables an inverter that is 40% lighter, 30% smaller & with 25% higher power density.
